The CATIA Accommodation Designer role gives the user the necessary tools to prepare insulation, rooms, furniture and equipment on top of a structure such as metallic structures and buildings.
Once the structure is ready, this role is important for the finalization of the design, so that the space is optimized while leaving sufficient room for people to move around. To do so, the user can design walls, ceilings and floor coverings, while accounting for doors, windows, furniture and equipment. Other factors such as heat conservation and condensation are also taken in consideration through the design of insulation.
